Germany on a motorcycle

Riding through Germany offered a great mix of landscapes — from dense woodlands and river valleys to high ridges and quiet country roads. Over 5 days and approximately 1,300 km, I travelled solo from the Netherlands to Munich and back. On the way there I followed the Deutsche Alpenstraße, enjoying the mountain roads and alpine scenery, while the return leg took me along the Romantic Road through charming towns and rolling countryside.

The video below provides a full report of the ride, showing the route, scenery and experiences from start to finish. In the sections that follow you’ll find the full route and downloadable GPS tracks.
